Worm can be dangerous for men. There are different types of worms that affect human beings and causes various ailment if they are not treated properly. Though there is no age limit for the people who can be affected by the worms, it is generally prevalent among the children. There are different types of worm including tape worms, ring worms etc.
Sign Symptoms
There are no specific symptoms of this infection. In fact, it varies from person to person. At the same time, the symptoms change with the type of infection as well. Still, itchiness in the infected part is a common trait in this infection. Also, this itchiness increases during the night. Inflammation and scarring in retina can also occur. This is the case when the worms attack the eye and this can result in the visual problem. There are cases when important organs of the body are affected with the attack of worm as well. Thus if the lungs are infected with worms, it can result in asthma. At times, different parts of the body swell up thanks to the infection of the worm.
In case of the infection of the ring worm, the infected part turns reddish and scaly. The area takes up a circular look and itching takes place. After the recovery, though the central zone resumes the natural skin, the circumference of circle takes the shape of vesicular border.
Causes
Weak immunity system seems to be the major case for the worms. This is why it is so common in children. At the same time, a person is prone to worms if he or she does not maintain the proper healthy lifestyle. They are contagious as well; worms can be transmuted from one person to another via skin contact. In fact, this is one of the major reasons of infection of worms. A person should wash hands properly after toilets to stay away from the worms. Sometimes, the feces of cats and dogs spread the infection as well. So, a person can catch the worms if he or she does not wash the hands after catching the pets.

Home Remidies
- The person affected with worms must abide by a strict dietary format. He or she should avoid pickles, curd and any other sour items.
- Go early in bed and rise up early.
- Maintain a hygienic and healthy lifestyle.
- The affected person should bathe in water that is boiled with neem leaves. If one does not manage the leaves, he or she should go for a soap that is essentially made of neem. In fact, the person should also eat the neem leaves in the empty stomach at the morning. He or she can also apply it as a paste on the infected area.
Conclusion
The treatment of worms should be carried on at least for six months even after the symptoms vanish. At the same time, using good soap, wearing clean dresses is important. It is useful to bath more than once to get rid of the worms.
