Change - Makes a Difference

We often begin with a fitness program full of energy and zeal but the excitement soon wears off and we start inventing all sorts of excuses to avoid exercising. We realize that regular workout is important but we start avoiding it because we stop enjoying it; it soon becomes run-of-mill routine.
So the point is, how to make it interesting so that you could maintain it till such time when you finally get hooked to it?
What reduces your motivation level is the monotony of the exercise program. So to avoid routine, you should keep on changing your workout schedule. There are so many way to burn those extra pounds. You can try different exercise regimens and different approaches to maintain health and fitness. For example, you can try yoga and after some time join some dance classes. If you have a routine of jogging, changing your jogging track or park also helps and works equally well.
Even within the same routine, you can find some company, a friend or partner, who keeps motivating you and at times you can also return the favor. Alternatively, you can listen to some music. It will also keep you from looking at your watch again and again.
The moot point here is that you should find one way or the other to keep yourself motivated. You need to tell yourself each morning that exercising is good for your health and you must not avoid it, except under extremely adverse circumstances. So keep changing your workout routine rather than completely avoiding it.
