Trataka
"Trataka means to gaze steadily.
Looking intently with an unwavering gaze at a small point until tears are shed is known as trataka.
Preparations:
- Practice in a dark room which is free from dust and insects
- Use a lamp with ghee or oil to minimize the smoke
- While sitting, keep the lamp at an eye level position
- The flame should not flicker
- Practice this kriya on an empty stomach
