The six kriyas, or six actions, are based on the outlet, prana or dosha that they cleanse, as follows:

Dhautirbastistatha netistratakam naulikam tatha|
Kapalabhatiscaitani satkarmani pracakshate||
Karmashatakamidam gopyam ghatashodhanakarakam|
Vichitragunasamdhayi pujyate yogipungavaih||

Meaning: Dhauti, basti, neti, trataka, nauli and kapalabhati are said to be the six purificatory processes. These six cleansing processes purify the body and yield wonderful results, and are held in high esteem by foremost Yogis.

The Gheranda Samhita describes twenty-one types of kriyas that include thirteen varieties of dhauti kriyas, two types of basti kriyas, and three types of kapalabhati kriyas. The Hatha Rathnavali explains further about chakri karma.

All methods and practices are discussed in more detail on this site.
